People and Culture Directorate (formerly Human Resources) is a multifaceted Directorate of the Division of University Services that provides a diverse range of human resource, industrial relations and support services for staff of CQUniversity.
The Directorate is divided into several organisational work units:
Salaries, Superannuation and Systems Unit provides:
- Salary/payroll administration to CQUniversity staff
- Superannuation services and advice
- Alesco (HRIS) System support
- ESSO support
Employee Relations Unit provides:

- Induction and general information for new staff
- Professional Development activities for CQUniversity employees
- Performance Management Program (PRPD)
- Supervisor Support and Training

- Disability support services
- Health, Safety and Enviornment initiatives across CQUniversity
- Education and Training in Health, Safety and Environment matters
- Support services for the CQUniversity Health, Safety and Environmental Committee
